Mary Alice Wolfe

Mary Alice (Atkinson) Wolfe, 79, of Duncannon, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at her residence with her loving family at her side.

She was a former Claims Secretary for 27 years with Ohio Casualty Insurance Company and a member of Carlisle Church of the Nazarene where she served as church Treasurer for several years. Mary loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with all her heart. She lived her life for Jesus, and it showed. She loved her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved giving to others.

Mary was born in Winona WV, the daughter of the late Stanley and Lucy (Hetrick) Atkinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years Merle Allen Wolfe and two brothers, David and Thomas Atkinson.

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Wolfe (Rebekah) of Duncannon and Heather Lowe (Kevin) of Gettysburg; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with Pastor Tony Zibolski officiating. Viewing will be from 4:30 – 6:30 pm Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be at the Knox Dale / Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Knox Dale, Jefferson County, PA.
