Mary Ann (Dolbin) Myers, 76, of Camp Hill and formerly of New Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in her residence.
She was born in Harrisburg to the late Ralph and Mary (Marshall) Dolbin and was a 1955 graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg where she was the cheerleading captain. She was a member of the Greater Harrisburg Chorus, Sweet Adelines International for more than 58 years. She was also an avid Penn State football fan, longtime PSU football season ticket holder, and had an affinity for her cats.
Mary Ann was the widow of William G. Myers and is survived by her three children, Holly M. Harbold and husband Dana G. of Mechanicsburg, Linda D. Mowrey and husband William M. of New Cumberland and Jeffrey W. Myers of East Berlin; a brother and two sisters, R. Joseph Dolbin of Mechanicsburg, Nancy Smith of Linglestown and Patricia Bowman of Camp Hill; six grandchildren, Kelsey and Dane Harbold, Ben and Kyle Mowrey and Cody and Drew Myers; and a great granddaughter Brynnlee Mowrey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 18, 2014 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. Elaine M. Dent, her pastor officiating. Viewings will be from 6-8 pm Thursday evening and again from 10-11 am Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
