Mary B. Roach

Mary B. Roach, 87, of Shady Side, MD, and formerly of Mechanicsburg,
PA, died Wednesday, June 17th, 2015, at Anne Arundel Medical Center,
Annapolis, MD.
She retired as the Executive Secretary for the former Vitro
Laboratories, Silver Spring, MD, and was a member of Mechanicsburg
Presbyterian Church. Born on August 5th, 1927, she was the daughter of
the late Ed and Bessie L. (Crisp) Collins. She was the widow of
William A. Roach Jr.
Surviving are two sons, William A. Roach III of Longmont, CO; one son,
Ralph L. Roach (Susan) of Mechanicsburg, PA; two daughters, Dianne C.
Abraham (Kent) of Shady Side, MD; one daughter, Mary Suzanne Roach of
Columbia, SC; four brothers, Clyde C. Collins of Murphy, NC, and
Claude C. Collins of Atlanta, GA, Lamar Collins of Decatur, AL, and
Jerry Collins of Robbinsville, NC; two sisters, Edna M. Howell and Jo
Doris Shuler, both of Robbinsville, NC; four grandchildren, Laura E.
Abraham (James Pearson), Michael A. Roach, Lauren B. Roach and Heather
S. Roach.
Memorial services will be held at 10am with visitation starting at 9am
on Friday, July 17th at Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church with The
Rev. Myrtle E. McCall officiating. Burial will follow at
Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., PA.
