Mary (Bieber) Gray

Mary (Bieber) Gray, 96, of New Cumberland and formerly of Greencastle, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in her New Cumberland residence.

She was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; enjoyed crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles; and in her earlier years, enjoyed crocheting.

Mary was born in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Louis and Mary (Hawkes) Bieber, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Warren E. Gray; a daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Gray; a son-in-law Kurt Lichtblau; and a sister Caroline Bieber.

She is survived by her four daughters, Mary Ann “Polly” Plummer and husband Ralph of Morgantown, WV, Barbara Moreno and husband Bob of Tomah, WI, Carol Hess and husband Russell of Chambersburg and Margaret “Peggy” Lichtblau of New Cumberland; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the Harold M. Zimmerman & Son Funeral Home, 45 S. Carlisle St. Greencastle. Viewing will be from 6-8 pm on Monday evening in the funeral home. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
