Mary Birnbrauer Connolly

Mary Birnbrauer Connolly, 84, of Camp Hill died Saturday, December 19, 2015.
She retired with twenty-one years of service to the Pennsylvania State Police. She had also worked for Bell Telephone of PA in Philadelphia and the Harrisburg Office of Merrill Lynch . She was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland and West Shore Country Club. She was active in local politics and volunteered frequently with the Democratic Party. She enjoyed discussing politics and the stock market, dining with close friends at West Shore Country Club, her children and grandchildren, summers at Ocean City, NJ, and was a long time Navy Football season ticket holder.
She was born May 10, 1931 in Philadelphia to the late Charles and Helen (Reeves) Birnbrauer. She was the widow of Nicholas Connolly, Jr.
She is survived by two daughters, Dr. Cynthia A. Connolly of Merion Station, PA and Jackie Connolly of Wayne, PA; a son, Nicholas Connolly, III (Linda) of Leesburg, VA; a sister, Helen Guminski of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Lauren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30am Monday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday at. St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Private burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
