Mary Jane (Gagnon) Mosher

Mary Jane (Gagnon) Mosher, 91, of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at her residence.

She worked as a secretary at the New York Association for the Blind before meeting her future husband, Robert, on a blind date in Long Island, NY. They would marry and then move to Central PA where they raised a family together. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, and she took pleasure in feeding and watching after the backyard wildlife. She followed current events and she would relax with an old movie playing on the TV. Nothing was as important to Mary Jane as her family and beloved grandchildren.

Born on April 13, 1930 in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Frances (Walsh) Gagnon.

Mary Jane is survived by her daughters, Margaret A. Jalbert of East Petersburg, and Jane Landucci (husband, Thomas) of Harrisburg; a son, Thomas R. Mosher of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Ryan Mosher, Rebecca Landucci, Derek Weachter, Alyssa Webber and Brendan Mosher; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Mosher; and by her five older siblings.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Mary Jane’s final resting place will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
