Mary Jane Hobaugh

Mary Jane Hobaugh, 95, of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in her residence surrounded by her children.

She was the former owner of R.B. Hobaugh & Son, Lemoyne. Mary Jane attended St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland and was a former member of the New Cumberland Civic Club. She enjoyed baking, sewing, shopping and going to the casino. Her hospitality and caring was beyond compare and she was always interested in feeding anyone who came to visit.

Mary Jane was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late Ilario and Maria (Severo) Ingiusto. She was the widow of Raymond “Sparky” Hobaugh and was preceded in death by two sisters, Gilda DiTonno and Lena Zimmerman.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia J. Johnston and husband Scott of Lewisberry, Catherine M. Sholly and husband Landis “Tuck” of Etters and Lori/Bo Hobaugh of Lewisberry; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 25, 2022 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland with the Rev. James McKibbin officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
