Mary L. Metz

Mary L. Metz, 83, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at Cross Keys Village, Oxford Twp.
She retired as an employee of the Harrisburg Hospital; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; V.F.W. Post 7415 Ladies’ Auxiliary, New Cumberland; a graduate of the former William Penn High School. Born on October 6th, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Louise M. (Amaismeier) Booritch. She was the widow of John R. Metz Jr. and was also preceded in death by two sons, John R. III and Francis G. Metz.
Surviving are two daughters, Janet L. Albin (James N.) of New Oxford, and Nancy E. Gallagher of American Canyon, CA; a sister, Eileen Fazio of Harrisburg; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Monday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland with the Rev. Michael McFadden as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp.
Viewing will be held 4 – 6 PM on Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
