Mary N. (Dietz) Lantz

Mary N. (Dietz) Lantz, 98, formerly of Etters, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2020 in Country Meadows of Mechanicsburg.

She was a 1941 graduate of the former New Cumberland High School and a member of New Cumberland First Church of God and it’s Reliable Sunday School Class. Mary was a volunteer with West Shore Meals on Wheels and a member of York County Society of Farm Women; the former Golden Age Club of New Cumberland; and the New Cumberland Olde Towne Association.

Mary was born in Good Hope Mills, Cumberland County to the late Albert and Mary (Reeser) Dietz. Mary was the widow of John Y. Lantz and was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Norman and Samuel Dietz.

She is survived by her children, Patricia A. Gabig of Etters and John B. Lantz and wife Gail of Manchester; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 5, 2020 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp., New Cumberland. There will be no viewing or visitation.
