Later, when he was coaching baseball at Cedar Cliff, she worked every home game in the concession stand. She was a huge Penn State fan, following both football and baseball. She was active in her church at St. John’s Lutheran in Steelton where she was known to decorate the church every Christmas. Mary loved spending time with her four great-grandchildren, attending their ballet performances and baseball games.
She is survived by her loving son Raymond W. Hoover Jr. (Deborah), her grandson R. Will Hoover III (Wendy), and four great grandchildren, Emerson, Addyson, Grayson, and R. Will IV.
