Matthew Kyle Edwards

Matthew Kyle Edwards, 30, of Lower Paxton Twp., Harrisburg, died Thursday, February 25, 2021, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born on Friday, January 4th, 1991, in York.

Matthew was formerly a landscaper for Heaven On Earth Lawn Care, Lancaster. As a passionate musician, he had a special attraction and ability for the guitar. He appreciated nature and enjoyed the outdoors as well as being a science fiction and comic book enthusiast. Matthew had a strong interest in body art and had many tattoos with each one having a special meaning to him. He was a huge fan of anything to do with Star Wars! But most importantly, he was a loving father and cherished his time singing to Veda while playing his guitar.

Surviving is his daughter, Veda A. Leinninger; his father, David M. Edwards and his wife, Jill, of Middletown; his mother, Carla R. (Butche) Stevens and her husband, Jason, of Harrisburg; his brother, Eric T. Edwards of Middletown; his paternal grandmother, Pricilla M. (Bruce) Edwards of Marion, IN; several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
