Michael E. Calhoun

Michael Earl “Mike” Calhoun, 64 of Lewisberry, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was born on February 5th, 1954. Mike was a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School. During his life, he worked at the Harrisburg Incinerator and was a volunteer at the Citizen’s Fire Dept., Steelton. Mike loved the outdoors and was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #106, Steelton. He enjoyed going to Indy car races, hunting, reading, and most of all, he enjoyed his cabin in the woods. In the last years of his life, Mike enjoyed his numerous caregivers and close friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Earl L. Calhoun and survived by his mother, Mary Steffen Calhoun; his sisters, Cheryl Whittle and husband, Thomas, of Maine, Christine Barna and husband, Mike, of Steelton, Beth Sauder and husband, Dale, of Lewisberry; seven nieces and nephews; ten great nieces and nephews.
