Michael D. Keyes

Michael D. Keyes, 64, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Wednesday, April 24th at his home.   

An Army Veteran of the Cold War, he was a retired Forklift Operator from Defense Logistics Agency at Susquehanna.  His passions were his granddaughters, riding his Harley, and Elvis.  He was a member of VFW Post 7415, New Cumberland, American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, and American Legion Post 974, Fairview Twp.   

He was born May 2, 1959 in St. Louis, MO to the late Harry and Betty Lou (Lockler) Keyes.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Steven and John. 

He is survived by his son, Michael G. Keyes of Deptford, NJ; two granddaughters, Mia and Maci; ex-wife, Kathy Keyes; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at 2pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm Monday, May 6th at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.  Interment will follow in Newport Cemetery.
