Michael T. Warfel, 65, of Lower Allen Twp., New Cumberland, died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Penn State Health, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Derry Twp.
He retired as a Master Fire Fighter for Montgomery Country Fire & Rescue, Maryland; a graduate of the former Bloomsburg State College and Loyalsock Township High School. Born on June 13, 1952, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Wilmer W. and Loretta E. (Knauff) Warfel.
Surviving are his wife of eight years, Sharon B. Kinkade Warfel; a stepdaughter, Kristin L. Campbell of Atlanta, GA; brother and his wife, William and Linda Warfel of Montgomery; a sister in law and a brother in law, Bonnie and Rick Logue of Dillsburg; two nieces and their husbands, Stephanie and Brad Yohn, and Lisa and Kevin Anderson; two nephews, Joshua and wife, Nikki Warfel, and Shane Logue; a great niece, Peyton Anderson, and a great nephew, Brady Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1610 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill, with the Rev. Virginia J. Cover officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 9 – 11 AM in the church on Saturday.
