Master Sgt Kurt Everett Henderson, US Air Force, Retired, aged 70, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, May 20, 2023.
He served in support of Desert Shield/Storm/Calm during the Gulf War. He was the recipient of numerous honors including the Air Force and Army Commendation Medals, National Defense SVC Medal, AF Expeditionary Medal, South West SVC Medal, Overseas Short Tour and Overseas Long Tour Ribbons.
He was born June 24, 1952, in Irumagawa, Honshu, Japan to the late Norman Everett and Victoria Willmetta (Wilson) Henderson.
He is survived by his daughters, Leah Michelle Henderson and Beth Victoria Henderson Harman (husband Dave) of Camp Hill; son, Philip Everett Henderson (wife Becky) of Elizabethtown; also daughter, Rebekah Smith; sister, April Stambaugh; brothers, Michael and Ross Henderson; grandchildren, David William Harman VI, Breanna Gale Henderson, Philip Everett Henderson Jr., and Everett Kurt Harman; and nieces and nephews, Heather, Angie, Mike, Sharron, Barbie, Todd, Melanie, Zak, and Samantha.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24th from 5-7pm at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
Interment services with military honors will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 25th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
