Nancy Irene Williams, 80, of Camp Hill, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Russell Beckey and Irene (Keim) Murphy, born on February 16, 1941 in Harrisburg.
The matriarch of the Williams family lived 80 beautiful years and touched many along her journey. Nancy always put her kids and family first, and she never passed on an opportunity to be with her grandchildren, especially if it was rooting them on in sports. She was a fantastic cook, putting her talents on full display every Thursday night when hosting family dinners, and she was a longtime member of Community United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. Bingo was one of her favorite pass times, starting years ago at Knights of Columbus, and most recently at Trinity High School in support of local girl scouts. She also enjoyed perusing craft fairs throughout the years. Nancy was a Kyle Larson racing fan, and he would subtly pay his respects by winning the Prairie Dirt Classic on the night of her passing. Her family will miss their biggest supporter, her famous barbeque chicken and baked beans, and the love she showed them each and every day.
Surviving Nancy are her children, Wayne E. Williams of Camp Hill, Connie I. Ort (Randall) of Mechanicsburg and Theodore R. Williams of Camp Hill; grandchildren, Tanya L. Matter (Timothy), Shawn S. Nicholson (Rebekah), Michael A. Ort (Cheryl), Eric R. Ort, Derek A. Williams, Tre D. Williams, Cory R. Williams and Kiara M. Williams; nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne S. Williams; her daughter, Terri J. Williams; and three brothers.
