Nancy Jean Bjurstrom

Nancy Jean Bjurstrom, 57, of Enola died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at home surrounded by her family.
She retired as a Hazardous Materials Handler from DDSP, New Cumberland. She was a 1975 graduate of Red Land High School. An avid cyclist and swimmer, she enjoyed travelling, camping, the outdoors, animals, and hosting exchange students.
She was born April 5, 1957 in Central Falls, RI. She was preceded in death by her father Reynold K. Bjurstrom.
She is survived by her life partner, Dennis N. Schaffner; two daughters, Josephine M. Bjurstrom of Mount Holly, NC and Ginger Marrie Smith of Dauphin; her mother, Marianna C. Bjurstrom of Harrisburg; three sisters, Joanne M. Costigan of Harrisburg, Karen L. Lewis of Cambridge Springs, and Laura K. Bjurstrom of New York, NY; and four grandchildren, McKayla, Lawson, Reagan, and Ellie.
Visitation will be from 4 until memorial services at 5pm Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
