Nichole Lee Goheen, 35, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2019, in Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Township.
Nichole was born in Harrisburg, the daughter of Scott Hammaker (Lisa) of Enola and Robbin Rodriguez Estright of Mechanicsburg, and granddaughter of Juan Rodriguez (Gerry) of York.
In addition to her parents and grandfather, she is survived by her husband Matthew K. Goheen; children, Lucas Ryder Goheen and Atlee Alyce Goheen; brother, Scott Hammaker, Jr.; half-brother, Bryan Hammaker; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nichole was a medical assistant/image scheduler with Jackson/Siegelbaum Gastroenterologists, Camp Hill. She was an active member of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg, where she was a Sunday School teacher and served on the Altar Guild, the lawn mowing crew, and the Capital Campaign Team. She was also the Awards Chair for Cub Scout Pack 190.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, December 6, 2019, in Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 208 Woods Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050, with the Reverend Luke Zimmerman, her Pastor, officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials in Nichole’s memory be directed to either Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Capital Campaign, Post Office Box 374, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, or to an account to benefit her children which has been established at Members 1st Federal Credit Union, 5000 Louise Drive, Post Office Box 40, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Checks may be written to Matthew K. Goheen with “To Benefit Lucas & Atlee” in the memo line and sent to Members 1st at the address listed above or presented for deposit at any of the Members 1st Branch Offices.
