Norma Elaine Pearson

Norma Elaine Pearson, 80, of Allendale, Camp Hill, died Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was born in Grangeville, ID to the late Jude and Reba (Gardner) Smith and was an incredibly devoted mother and military wife, serving as Officer’s Wives’ leader at many of the locations where her husband was stationed.
Elaine was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Camp Hill and a volunteer for numerous public libraries over the last 30 years. She enjoyed golfing, skiing, snorkeling and playing Bridge.
She is survived by her loving husband of more than 61 years, Col. Stanley R. Pearson, U.S.A., Ret.; her son Michel R. Pearson of Lemoyne; two granddaughters and a great granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 20, 2013 in her church with the Rev. Ellen Crawford True, her pastor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Friday in the church.
