Norma Mae Buchanan, 60, of Carlisle and formerly of Enola, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a certified nursing assistant at The Bridges of Bent Creek, Mechanicsburg and a member of God’s Missionary Church, Camp Hill.
Norma was born in Harrisburg to the late James A. A. Seeger, Jr. and Florence (Bruaw) Seeger of Shippensburg.
She was the widow of David J. Buchanan, Sr. and is survived by her son David J. Buchanan, Jr. and wife Mary of Carlisle; daughter Debra J. Buchanan of Pittsburgh; two brothers, George E. Seeger (Donna) of Carlisle and Robert T. Seeger (Linda) of Dover; three sisters, Connie L. Jendrzejczak of Dover, Linda J. Trayer (Thomas) of Mechanicsburg and Sandra A. Morrow of Carlisle; a grandson William J. Buchanan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by twin sons, Douglas J. and Donald J. Buchanan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in God’s Missionary Church, 3807 Rosemont Ave. Camp Hill, PA 17011 with the Rev. Stephen Aurand, her pastor officiating. Viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 pm in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
