O. Russel Williams, 88, of Mechanicsburg died Monday, October 5, 2015 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired Fiscal Technician Supervisor from the PA Dept. of Public Welfare. A 1945 graduate of Morris Twp. High School, he attended Thompson Institute, Harrisburg. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne, its Men’s Fellowship Bible Class, Senior Choir, and Men’s Chorus. He loved music, gardening, word search puzzles, bus trips, and the beach.
He was born May 24, 1927 in Philipsburg to the late Cyrus and Minnie Iola (Dunkle) Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Bloom Williams, four brothers, two sisters, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn A. Mailey.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela W. Mailey (Frank N.) of York Haven; son, Gregory R. Williams of Mechanicsburg; and two grandsons, Frank A. and James N. Mailey.
Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Lemoyne. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
