Otis Dean Allen, Jr., 82, of Hampden Twp., Camp Hill, died Friday, September 20, 2019, at Manor Care Carlisle.
He retired as a Communications Technician for the former Lucent Technology, Harrisburg; a member of C.W.A.; Bell Pioneers; and a member of Valley Green golf club. He loved hunting and fishing and owned a cabin in Sullivan County. For many years he and his wife bowled in a league for AT&T. Otis was a huge fan of Penn State and hardly ever missed a game on tv or radio. He also loved his family, Pepsi, the beach, Dale Earnhardt Sr., Dale Jr., and the Dallas Cowboys.
Born on November 25, 1936, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Otis D. Jr. and Helen (Hunter) Allen. He was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Allen, a brother, Leon "Bob" Allen, and a sister, Bette Gerber.
Surviving are his wife, Marlene L. (Fries) Allen; two sons, Otis D. Allen III of Williamsport, and Jeffrey Allen of Williamsport; a daughter, Kim Allen of Watsontown; a stepdaughter, Denita Musselman of Camp Hill; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at the Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with Pastor Fred Seiferth officiating. Entombment will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
A viewing will be held one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
