Patricia A. Spirko

Patricia A. “Patty” Spirko, 62, of New Cumberland died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was a graduate of Bishop Hannon High School of Scranton. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from Messiah Village. She became a nurse at Brady Hall in the former Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing program. She was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly, children, and adored babies. She had a very caring perspective on healthcare.

She was born November 29, 1955 in Scranton to the late William J. Bassett and Evelyn McCue-Bassett. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joshua Spirko.

She is survived by her husband David R. Spirko; son, David Spirko; three sisters, Mary Ann Coar and Lynne Robinson of Scranton and Connie Sullivan of S. Weymouth, MA.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30am Friday (May 4, 2018) at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. Private interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
