Patti Jo Goodhart

Patti Jo Goodhart, 54, of New Cumberland, died Saturday, July 20, 2013 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a waitress at the American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, loved vacationing in Wildwood, NJ, and spent countless hours volunteering her time and talents to numerous organizations including the VA Medical Center in Lebanon and several local animal shelters. She was a member of the Post 143 Auxiliary and the VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland.
Patti Jo was born in Harrisburg to Alma (Daniels) Rowan of Harrisburg and the late James Rowan.
She is survived by her husband Earl J. Goodhart; a son James K. Hatcher and wife Katrina L. of Azle, TX; five step children, Robby and Robin Goodhart of NC, Jennifer Worley of NC, Kim and James Marks of Lemoyne, Dan and Julie Fickes of Etters and Jack and Kim Fickes of AK; three sisters, Lori Jan Taylor of New Cumberland, Vicki Lee Fessler of Grantville and Jami Lynn Porter of Harrisburg; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11 am in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Visitation will be from 9:30am until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
