Patty Lou Nealey

Patty Lou Nealey, 83, of New Cumberland, Fairview Twp. died Monday, March 15, 2021 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was a retired Nursing Assistant Supervisor from Leader Nursing Home, Camp Hill. Patty was a proud military spouse. Patty and her husband Bill traveled to many places around the globe through the military. They were stationed at Fairfield, CA; Augsburg, Germany; Fort Bliss, TX; Valley Forge, PA; and New Cumberland, PA. When she was based in California with her husband, she became a sewing instructor. She received a Governors Award from Bob Casey, Sr. for saving an individual from a heart attack.

She was born in New Market, Fairview Twp., PA on May 8, 1937 to the late Babe and Helen Dora (Beamer) Eshleman. She was the widow of Willis Olin Nealey.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina L. Kelley (Jerry) of New Cumberland and Linda Lee Kumler (Corey) of Duncannon; grandchildren, Jason and Dustin Kumler and Jeremy Nealey; great-grandchildren, Ashton Herr, Ella Kumler, Lane Kumler, Veronica Nealey, and Bristol Kumler; sisters, Mary Atkins, of New Cumberland and Virginia Sellers of Dillsburg; sister-in-law, Frances Eshleman of Dover; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1pm Monday, March 22nd at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
