Paul J. Hartley, 74, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at his home.
He retired as an employee of the L.B. Smith Engineering Division, Camp Hill; an Army veteran of the Vietnam War; a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland. Born on October 16, 1942, in Alliance, OH, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Helen L. (Kesser) Harley.
Surviving are his wife, Marlee V. (Lax) Hartley; two daughters, Paula J. Hartley of York, and Lori A. Harmon and husband, Jeff, of Camp Hill; four step sons, Robert L. Whitmore of Mechanicsburg, Jack D. Whitmore of Glen Rock, James M. Whitmore and wife, Kristin, of Mechanicsburg, and Matthew J. Whitmore of Camp Hill; a sister, Karen J. Burkelow of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, 228 Bridge St., New Cumberland, with the Rev. Dr. Edwin “Win” Green officiating.
