Paul L. Zeigler, Retired Brigadier General- Pennsylvania National Guard, 74, of New Cumberland passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.
He was a retired Attorney of the law firm of Paul L. Zeigler, P.C. He was a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; a saxophone/clarinet player, certified scuba diver, pilot, and Jump Master with the 82nd Airborne Division.
He was born January 16, 1943 to the late Julius and Blodwen (Angus) Zeigler. He was also preceded in death by his wife Janice E. Shirk Zeigler and sister, Elizabeth E. Zeigler.
He is survived by his son, John P. Zeigler and his wife Lisa Zeigler of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Kristen Z. Dieck and her husband Craig Dieck of Carlisle; stepdaughter, Beth Parkinson and her husband Richard Parkinson of El Paso, TX; brother, Robert Zeigler of New Cumberland; two sisters, Gretchen Gardner of Flemington, NJ; Janet Rohrer , Pittsburgh, Pa; and six grandchildren, Adam and Conner Dieck, Laura, Larissa, and Leah Zeigler, and Cooper Parkinson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Monday, December 11, 2017 at Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, with a reception at the church thereafter.
