Philip Charles Luckenbaugh

Philip Charles Luckenbaugh, 51, formerly of Shermansdale, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in Garden Spring Center, Willow Grove, PA.

He was a retired Hunter Education Specialist with the PA Game Commission, was U.S. Army veteran, and also retired as a Sgt. First Class with the Army National Guard. He was a 1984 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School; earned his Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education and his Masters in Geography and Environmental Sciences from Shippensburg University. Phil was an Assistant Scout Master with Boy Scouts of America Troop 7, Shermansdale and was a member of VFW Post 7463, New Bloomfield.

Phil was born in Harrisburg to the late Richard C. and Jacqueline (Harvey) Luckenbaugh.

He is survived by his children, Joshua E. Luckenbaugh and Emeleigh E. Luckenbaugh both of Shippensburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Boy Scouts of America Troop #7, Shermans Dale.
