Phyllis I. Eckstine, 78, of Mechanicsburg died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Carolyn’s House, Susquehanna Twp.
Fully devoted to her family she worked part time as a Wedding Designer for Stephensons Flowers. She was a passionate gardener and sixty plus year member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church.
She was born December 19, 1940 in Enola to the late Earl Zeigler and Grace Shaffer. She was also preceded in death by her husband John (Ed) and grandson Christopher.
She is survived by a son, John E., IV (Debbie) of Mechanicsburg; three daughters, Tammy I Gardner (Robert) of Dillsburg, Pamela L. Peng of Enola, and Wendy K. Erb (Terry) of York Haven; sister, Earlene Smith of Mechanicsburg; brother, Earl Zeigler of White Hawk, CA; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren, Justin, Rebecca, Elisha, Jesse, Bradley, Nicholas, Vanessa, and Makenzy; and six greatgrandchildren, Madeline, Emma, Lleyton, Aava, Matthew, and Evan.
Viewing will be from 5 to 7pm Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Thursday at Camp Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Tri-County Memorial Gardens.
