Phyllis M. Tobias, 88, of Lower Paxton Twp., Harrisburg, died Tuesday, July 7th, 2015, at the Colonial Park Care Center.
She retired as a Special Accounts Representative for the former Bell of PA, Harrisburg; was a member of Progress-Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, and the Bell Pioneers. Born on July 27th, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Herbert B. and Kathryn G. (Briggs) Manley and was the widow of Robert H. Tobias.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen M. Tobias of Lower Paxton Twp., and R. Douglas Tobias (Sandi) of New Cumberland; two sisters, Jan Umbower of Tyrone and Judy Brandt (Bill), all of Altoona; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua and Jason; two great grandchildren, Micah and Jocelyn; three nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev. Troy T. Howell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
