Phyllis S. Shaffer

Phyllis S. Shaffer, 85, formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle.

She was a former Executive Secretary to the Vice President for the former AMP, Inc. and a member of Shiremanstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed getting together with her high school friends and gardening.

Phyllis was born in Wormleysburg to the late Charles and Floy (Bower) Shuler and was the widow of Kenneth S. Shaffer.

She is survived by her siblings, Carl A. Shuler and wife Sandy of Mesa, AZ, Linda S. Keller and husband Frank of Dauphin and Debbie K. Sahd and husband Ken of Mechanicsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 15, 2016 in Shiremanstown United Methodist Church, 125 East Main St. Shiremanstown, PA 17011. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time in the church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
