Priscilla D. Dentler, 82, of Mechanicsburg died Monday, December 25, 2017 at Messiah Lifeways, Upper Allen Twp.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg. A graduate of Wilson College, she was a retired manager of the Loan Origination Department of PHEAA. She enjoyed talking to people about her granddaughters and their accomplishments
She was born July 8, 1935 in Morristown, NJ to the late William G. and Ada (Dickinson) Drury. She was the widow of Donald W. Dentler.
She is survived by a son Jeffrey W. and his wife Carol B. of Richmond VA, a daughter DruAnn D Knisely and her husband Jeffrey W. of New Bloomfield PA, a brother Birkett G. Drury of New Cumberland, a sister Sarah D Cotton of New Cumberland, and three granddaughters Emily and Abigail Dentler and Samantha Knisely, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, 221 N. Front St. Harrisburg, PA 17101 with the Rev. Amy D. Welin, her pastor officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 11am until time of service. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral at the address above or to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
