Ralph E. Wolfe

Ralph E. Wolfe, 78, of York Haven, Newberry Twp., passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was a retired truck driver with ABF, Carlisle and more recently, Humbert’s Excavating, Newberry Twp. Ralph served honorably with the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of Teamsters Local #776. He enjoyed watching football and loved working in his garden and cutting grass. He had to stay busy ALL of the time.

Ralph was born in Tyrone, PA to the late Robert and Gertrude “Trudy” (Young) Wolfe, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Andrew, brothers, Munson and Robert, Jr., sister Martha Jean Dearmitt and brother in laws, William Muhlbauer and Robert Himes.

He is survived by his wife of more than 57 years, Jayne E. (Muhlbauer) Wolfe; daughter Pamela Heisey of York Haven; sister Rose Ann Himes of Bellwood, PA; sister-in-law Margaret Muhlbauer; three grandchildren, Matthew Miller (Kahla), Nicole Heisey and Madison Wolfe; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Viewing will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday evening in the funeral home. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Lewisberry.
