Ralph G. Lindquist

Ralph G. Lindquist, 86, of Enola, formerly of Camp Hill transitioned Sunday, August 16, 2015.
An Army Veteran of the Korean War, 1st Cavalry Div., 16th Recon, He received the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, U.N. Ribbon with five campaign stars, Order of Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation and three Korean Government Medals; presented by then South Korean President Sygmund Rhee. He was a retired Supervisor of Claims from Erie Insurance Group. He was a member of Lowther Manor Lodge No. 681, F & AM and Harrisburg Consistory. He was a fifty year instructor of Martial Arts in the Harrisburg area. He was the founder of Isshinryu Karate Club of PA, Inc. PA, two time Karate Hall of Fame Inductee, and Okinawan Karate Hall of Fame Inductee.
He was born January 27, 1929 in Boston, MA to the late Nathaniel and Esther (Salkind) Lindquist. He was the widower of Beverly Jane Flynn Lindquist and also preceded in death by his sister, Natalie Angeli.
He is survived by his significant other, Brenda L. Clark and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Private inurnment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Hampden Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to: American Cancer Society, Capital Area Unit, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite 101, Lemoyne, PA 17043 or to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
