Ralph S. McNaughton, 82, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at his home. Born on October 18, 1933 in Saville Twp., he was the son of the late Ralph N. and Hattie M. (Fawver) McNaughton.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Audrey M. McNaughton; three sons, Ralph V. McNaughton of New Cumberland, Robert J. McNaughton (Darlene) of Enola, and Anthony R. McNaughton (Lynn) of New Cumberland; four sisters, Minnie Turnbaugh of Newport, Tamar Wilfong of Liverpool, Lottie Wilson of New Bloomfield and Shirley Bailor of Shermansdale; four grandchildren, Crystal, Jacqueline, Amanda and Robert; three great grandchildren, Brooke, Austin and Bentley.
He retired as the Chief of Utilities at the former New Cumberland Army Depot; a Korean War Army Veteran and one of the original members of the 201st Red Horse Air National Guard Unit; a member of New Cumberland First Church of God; served 16 years on the New Cumberland Borough Council where he was the former Police Commissioner. Ralph was a former New Cumberland Little League Baseball Coach and former Commissioner of New Cumberland Youth Football program..
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday in New Cumberland First Church Of God with the Rev. Charles Zahora, his pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp. at 1:30 PM on Tuesday.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 PM on Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
