Ralph W. Wacker

Ralph W. Wacker, 91, of New Cumberland died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 surrounded by family at UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle Medical Center.

A WWII Army Veteran, loving father and grandfather, he was a retired truck driver from the former Montgomery Ward. He was a huge fan of the Williams Grove Speedway.

He was born September 29, 1926 in Yocumtown to the late John H. and Dessie (Hake) Wacker. He was also preceded in death by his infant daughter Diane.

He is survived by his wife of almost 72 years, Eva M. (Rudy) Wacker; son, Kenneth E. of New Cumberland; two daughters, Shirley A. Hartz (Randal) of Liverpool and Vickie A. Innerst of Harrisburg; two brothers, Paul (Nancy) of Camp Hill and Wayne (Nancy) of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Private family viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private interment with military honors will follow in Cross Roads Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
