Raymond Aloysius Mcdonald

Raymond Aloysius McDonald, 86, of New Cumberland died peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. Born on July 24, 1927, in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Adeline (Hastings) (McDonald) Turk.
Ray was a World War II Navy Veteran. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Long Island University in Brooklyn, N.Y., a Judicial Doctorate from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. He retired as a patent attorney for (former) Marion Merrell Dowl in Strasbourg France. He loved playing tennis, fishing, white water rafting and traveling. He was a master carpenter. Ray was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in New Cumberland.
Surviving are his wife, Ida L. “Edie” Angeloro, a son, Robert V. McDonald, three daughters, Karen A. Washienko, Susan L. McDonald and Deborah R. McDonald, and four grandchildren, Meaghan Elrod, Kristin Gardner (Ryan), Matthew McDonald and Michael Washienko.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23rd in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, with the Rev. S. T. Antony Raja as celebrant. Burial with full military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in East Hanover Twp.
