Rhonda L. Funk

Rhonda L. Funk, 65, of Carlisle, formerly of New Cumberland died Monday, January 6, 2025 at The Gardens at West Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Camp Hill.

A 1978 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School, she worked as a Computer Programmer for EDS and Giant Corporation. She was a member of the Catholic Church and attended the former St. James Catholic Church in Steelton. She enjoyed puzzles, crochet, cooking, and meals with family and friends. Rhonda loved the Hallmark Channel and Lifetime Movies. She was kindhearted and would help anyone and give them her last.

She was born September 29, 1959 in Harrisburg to the late Lewis Harry and Ellen Almeda (Farling) Reese. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Tristen Andrew Funk.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Andrew Thomas, and Christen Funk of New Cumberland; sister, Ellen Holzer of Carlisle; brothers, Lewis Reese of Summerdale and Rodney Reese of Lemoyne; and grandson, Reily Alexander Sather.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
