Richard C. “Dick” Dutrow, 77, of Hamiltonban Twp., Fairfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 12, 2018, at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He retired as a Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a former Contract Specialist for the U.S. Army; a greeter, member, and was active with Vacation Bible School at Jesus Alive Ministries, Waynesboro. Born on June 29, 1940, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Mildred I. (Sanders) Dutrow. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Evelynn S. Dutrow
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Paula S. McCort Dutrow; two sons, Richard C. II "Chuck" (Kimberly) of Capon Bridge, WV, and Todd W. of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX; a daughter, Lisa C. Cornman of Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Shirley Myers of Spring Grove, and Diane Paugh of Ocala, FL; seven grandchildren, Ryan Dutrow (Amanda), Chelsea Dutrow, Ashley Dutrow, Whitni Familia (Jesus), Jake Cornman, Isaiah Cornman and Malia Cornman; three great grandsons, Gabriel, Dominic and Greyson; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services with military honors will be held at 6 PM on Friday, June 22, 2018, Pine Hill Recreation Center, 12684 Mentzer Gap Road, Waynesboro. Visitation will be held with the family one hour prior to the services.
