Richard C. "R.C." Mauch, Iii

Richard C. Mauch lll, 39, of Newberry Twp., York Haven passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his home.

Born on August 12, 1976 in Ft. Wayne, IN, he was the son of Richard C. and Marybeth (Dunn) Mauch Jr. of Aiken, SC. Richard attended West Nottingham Academy, graduated from Cedar Cliff High School, and attended Harrisburg Area Community College and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. On September 25, 2004 he was married to the love of his life, Sherry (Black) Mauch.

Richard, also known as “R.C.” to his family, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all sports, but especially loved the Penguins, Steelers, and Pittsburgh Panthers. Richard enjoyed traveling with his wife and his many friends and family who loved him. His favorite place to travel was the beach, in particular Hilton Head, SC and Duck, NC, and very much enjoyed spending time in the sunshine whenever he could. He also enjoyed trips to his family camp with his dogs, Bosley and Beans.

Richard will be especially remembered for his witty banter and his fun-loving and caring nature.
In addition to his wife and parents, Richard is survived by his maternal grandmother Mary Louise “Moo Moo” Nordberg.

Services will be private.
