Richard James Johnson, 50, of Etters, died Monday, December 30, 2019 at Harrisburg Hospital.

A 1988 graduate of Red Land High School, he was a carpenter and owner of Rich Johnson Construction. He enjoyed building things, cooking: especially with his smoker, model trains, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He was born September 5, 1969 in Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Galen Johnson and two brothers, Timothy D. and Donald G., Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer D.; mother, Nancy Ellen of Etters; sister, Susan E. Kresge (Philip) of New Bloomfield; three daughters, Brittany N. of Etters, Allison D. of Camp Hill, and Sierra M. of Etters; a son, Samuel G. Johnson of Etters; two granddaughters, Adriana and Brooklyn; and two nieces, Holly and Amanda.

Viewings will be from 5 to 7pm Friday and 10am until services at 11am Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp.
