Richard Keith English

Richard Keith English, 75, of Fairview Twp., Lewisberry, died Friday, January 10, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a retired engineer of the Norfolk Southern Railroad, was a member of the American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, Lower Allen V.F.W. and a dedicated member of the Appalachian Brewing Company Mug Club.

Dick “R.K.” was born in Harrisburg on May 7, 1944 as the son of the late John A. and Alta E. (Ryder) English. He was the widow of Marie B. “Bernie” (Haupt) English and preceded in death by a sister, Althea (English) Sollberger.

Surviving are a nephew, David R. Sollberger and his wife Shauna of Merritt Island, FL; a niece, Debra R. Mitchell and her husband Mark of Silver Springs, FL; along with two grandnieces and one grandnephew.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on 1:30PM on March 16, 2020 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp.
