Richard R. Brickley, 78, of East Hempfield Twp., Lancaster, and formerly of King of Prussia, died Friday, April 3, 2020, in Lancaster General Hospital.
He retired as the Project Director for “Research Information for Educators” for the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Education, Harrisburg, and was aformer member of the Market Street Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, its Choir, and the PSEA. Born in Lemoyne on Sept. 10, 1941, he was the son of the late Earl Brickley and Kathryn (Mummert) Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sondra Seitmas.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Susan P. (Penrose) Brickley; a son, Stephen W. Brickley of Marina Del Rey, CA; a daughter, Jennifer S. Deja (Thomas) of Oak Park, IL; a sister, Winonah Miller of Lemoyne.
Services for Richard will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, followed by burial in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
