Richard Thomas Wagner

Richard Thomas Wagner, 62, of Lewisberry, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was a retired Insurance Agent with Nationwide Insurance Company, a Financial Planner and a Mortgage Broker. He was a graduate of Trinity High School, Camp Hill and attended Anne Arundel Community College, MD. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, the National Rifle Association, Blue Moon Cruisers, Happy Campers and was a Red Cross volunteer. Rick was an avid car enthusiast, racing fan, and Notre Dame football fan. He enjoyed cooking, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

Rick was born in Norwalk, CT to the late Warren and Geraldine (Donoghue) Wagner. In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by a brother Harry Wagner.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kate” Wagner; daughters, Morgan Elisabeth Wagner, at home, and Aimee Zimmerman of Harrisburg; siblings, Susan Salinger and husband Frank of Miami, FL, Patti Parker of Columbus, OH and Gregg Wagner and wife Jill of Cranberry, PA; and his travel buddy and Canine Companion Milo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St. New Cumberland. Viewings will be from 6-8pm Monday evening and 9:30-10:30am Tuesday morning in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
