Robert A. Keeney

Robert A. Keeney, 64, of New Cumberland and formerly of Carlisle, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

He was a Supply Technician/Union Vice President and President with DDSP, Fairview Twp. (New Cumberland Army Depot) receiving numerous awards and commendations. He retired in November 2011 with 35 years of service. He was a Navy Seabee and a veteran of the Vietnam era.

He was a member of the Wellsboro Social Club, Wellsboro, PA and the American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland, PA. Bob was also an avid hunter and a huge Denver Broncos fan.

Bob was born in Hanover, PA, the son of John and Anna Marie (Hertz) Keeney.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Mary K. Keeney; daughter Tawnia Marie Perkey of Hanover; siblings, Allan E. Keeney of Carlisle, Eugene S. Keeney (Terri) of Carlisle and Joann Eichelberger (Keith) of Carlisle; two grandchildren, Ashley and Robert William Bollinger; and two great grandchildren, Jordan and Jayce Keck.

In light of the pandemic, services will be scheduled for a future date when all can gather and remember Bob.
