Robert A. Nease, Jr.

Robert A. Nease, Jr., 70, of Penbrook, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his home.

He was a retired Locomotive Engineer at Norfolk Southern Railroad and a vibrant member of the Harrisburg Gay Men’s Chorus. Bob was a volunteer for the Democratic National Committee and Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee.

He was born April 3, 1952 in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert Arthur and Virginia Jesse (Marcum) Nease, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Jane Myers.

He is survived by his children, Robert A. Nease, III of Mechanicsville, VA, Mary Elizabeth Eicholtz (Timothy) of Dover, and Emily Susan Nease of Harrisburg; his partner Charles Rankin of Alexandria, VA; six grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce A. Nease of Harrisburg, and Kathrina L. “Kit” Nease of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Unitarian Church on Saturday, April 8th, at 2:00 p.m. The church is located at 1280 Clover Lane, Harrisburg, Pa 17113.
