Robert E. Dolbin

Robert E. Dolbin, 86, of Camp Hill died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at LifeCare Hospitals of Mechanicsburg.

A Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, he worked his way up to retire as President of JC Budding Co., Camp Hill. He was very active in several Construction Trade Associations. He was a 1949 graduate of the former William Penn High School, Harrisburg. An active Boy Scout he earned his Eagle Badge at age 16. He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Mechanicsburg. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, singing, and dancing with Peg at the Elks Club, Legion, VFW and other venues in the area.

He was born July 21, 1931 in Harrisburg to the late Robert Shakespeare and Roxanna Rinehart (Shearer) Dolbin. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Kenton E. Peachey.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Peg (Garner) Dolbin; two daughters, Pamela M. Harvey (Lester) of Shiremanstown and Karen D. Peachey of Hummelstown; a brother, James Dolbin of Mechanicsburg; sister, Dolores Lebo of Mechanicsburg; eight grandchildren, Scott, Kimberly, Caitlin, Kipp, Nicholas, Alyssa, Krista, and Taylor; and six greatgrandchildren.

Viewing will be from 10am until funeral services at 11am Thursday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
