Robert E. White, Jr.

Robert E. White, Jr., 54, of Etters died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at home with his family.

A 1983 graduate of Red Land High School, he attended Penn State. He was a UPS driver based out of Lancaster. Family and friends were his priority. An animal lover, he rescued dogs for over thirteen years. He enjoyed boating on the river, fishing, and was an avid sports fan, with Penn State and the Eagles being his favorites.

He was born May 21, 1965 in York to Robert E. White, Sr. and the late Joyce E. (Altland) White. He was also preceded in death by a son, Patrick Eberly and also by his own infant sister, Ann Marie White.

He is survived by his wife Glenda M. (Lentz) White; son, Weston O. Eberly of Palmyra; daughter, Elaina Hughes (Jarod) of Etters; six grandchildren, Kaelynn, Lydon, Alivia, Lakin, McKenna, and Weston; many nieces and nephews, as well as many other loving friends and family members, who supported him through his battle with ALS.

Viewings will be from 5 to 7pm Friday and at 10am followed by funeral services at 11am Saturday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Burial will follow in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp.
