Robert E. White, Sr.

Robert E. White, Sr. 87, of York Haven died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his granddaughters home in Etters.

A graduate of New Cumberland High School, he was an Army Veteran. He was a retired steelmaker from Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of VFW Post 537, NRA, American Legion. He thoroughly enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and he loved animals.

He was born May 1, 1935 in Harrisburg to the late John and Isabelle (Redfern) White, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce E. (Altland) White; Children, Robert White, Jr. , and Ann Marie White; siblings, Rosemary and John White; and grandsons, Patrick and Weston Eberly.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Glenda M. White of Etters; siblings, Connie Kister of DuBois, Storme White of York Springs, and Tim White of New Cumberland; granddaughter, Elaina R. Hughes (Jarod) of Etters; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
