Robert Edwards

Robert Edwards, 98, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg.

He was a retired Auditor with Jewel Tea Company, Chicago, IL and a decorated WWII Air Force Armorer Gunner. Mr. Edwards enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and was an avid reader. He was a former Sunday School teacher and was always active in his church.

Mr. Edwards was born in Houtzdale, PA, the son of Walter and Selena Edwards.

He was the widower of Dorothy Mae (Weaver) Edwards and is survived by his daughters, Janice Robb (Joseph) of Langhorne, PA, Marsha Zehner (Glenn) of Camp Hill and Robin Plessl (Gary) of Greensboro, GA; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Private graveside services with military honors will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Twp., PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions in Mr. Edward’s’ memory to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Road Harrisburg, PA 17110.
